Rendu luxe, il tarit autrui,
Ignorant qu’il est lui-même accessoire.
Sa raison, immolée, ne crie plus.

Attrapant par milliers ses adorateurs,
Ses genoux jamais
N’ont le sol à toucher.
Déployant sa fougue et sa verve,
Les yeux des brebis s’enflamment
Et se fixent.

Mais un jour ses genoux prirent froid.
Un autre Fou apparu.
Devenu seul, il entendit enfin
Le murmure de l’immolée,
Et il comprit.
